The Segment (Business Unit) Operations Director Belgium is an integral member of the Benelux Segment Leadership Team, reporting to the Senior Vice President Benelux Healthcare Hospitals. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Represent Sodexo in partnering with and developing strong commercial relationships with Local Communities to develop business outcomes and promote success in our Healthcare responsibility and sustainability programs
  • Lead the Belgian Segment Operations Management Team to deliver on our Quality of Life positioning and achieve a safe working environment that meets or exceeds economic and commercial performance targets
  • Direct accountability for the segment operations in Belgium through a team of Client Relationship Managers, Site Managers and on-site teams
  • Work closely with the Senior Vice President Benelux Healthcare Hospitals to develop and implement the segment global strategy within Belgium to deliver sustainable, profitable growth and value for Sodexo clients and our business. Transform the global strategy into local needs/norms 
  • Support & partnering with the Benelux Segment Leadership team ( Sales / Operations / Marketing / Strategy / Finance / HR ) to ensure Regional goals are met
  • Manage and develop the segment talent in collaboration with the Benelux Segment HR Manager and the Senior Vice President Benelux Healthcare Hospitals


  • You have a Master degree and/or related professional experience of minimum 10 years
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial or operational experience in catering services
  • Previous experience in the Healthcare industry is a plus
  • Great interpersonal skills at all levels with capacity to engage and influence
  • Excellent communication skills and capacity to collaborate in an matrix organization
  • Business & commercial acumen
  • Strong finance acumen and mastery of operational levers to achieve business targets
  • People oriented with strong management skills
  • Trilingual Dutch, French and English required
  • You hold a driving license B
